9. Cookies, pixels
"Cookies" are small files that allow us to store specific information relating to you, the user, on your PC or other device while you are using fabulr.com. Cookies help us, for example, to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website, to analyze user behavior on our website, to assess the effectiveness of advertising, to increase security, and to make our offers as convenient, efficient and interesting as possible for you.
After you log in (with user name and password), fabulr.com uses so-called "session cookies" with which you can be identified for the duration of your visit. After the end of the session or after 2 hours of inactivity, session cookies expire automatically. You can permanently save these session cookies for automatic login using the function "I want to stay logged in on this computer until I log off." The session cookies then contain parts of your login data in encrypted form.
On the other hand, fabulr.com uses "permanent cookies" to record information about visitors who repeatedly access fabulr.com. The purpose of using these permanent cookies is to continuously improve our products and services for you. The permanent cookies do not contain any personal data. Name, IP address, etc. are not stored. An individual profile of your usage behavior is not created.
You can deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser, restrict them to certain websites or set your browser to notify you as soon as a cookie is sent. You can also delete cookies from your PC's hard drive at any time. Please note, however, that you will not be able to use fabulr.com if session cookies are rejected.

You can prevent these cookies from being set by deactivating the acceptance of third-party cookies in your Internet browser.
Our website uses Matomo, a so-called web analysis service. Matomo uses so-called "cookies", which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable us to analyze the use of the website. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transferred to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which serves to optimize the website on our part. Your IP address is immediately anonymized during this process so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will not be passed on to third parties. You can prevent the use of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
10. Integration of third-party services and content
The fabulr.com websites sometimes include third-party content, such as videos from YouTube and Vimeo, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always assumes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") perceive the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavor to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers save the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. If we are aware of this, we will inform users about it.
10.1 Use of Google Maps
fabulr.com uses Google Maps to display maps and create route plans.
Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of the data automatically collected and the data you enter by Google, one of its agents, or third parties.
The Google Maps Terms of Service can be found at Google Maps Terms of Service .
You can find detailed information in the privacy center of google.de: Transparency and choices as well as privacy policy .
10.2 AddToAny bookmark service
We use the bookmark and share button of the AddToAny service ( https://www.addtoany.com ) on this website. This service allows you to easily share content from this website on social services or networks without your data being passed on directly to other social networks.
Clicking on the AddToAny button opens a selection window with various providers that allow you to share the page you have visited. Selecting one of these providers means that you can interact with the respective provider. At the same time, you give your consent to the transmission of data to the corresponding provider and acknowledge that information from your browser can now be transmitted directly to the provider and stored there. Data is only collected if you access social services yourself using the AddToAny button and are possibly logged into your personal user account in the respective networks with your access data. When you first set up your user account with the respective service, you have already given your consent to the respective data protection provisions.
If you are logged into a social service and then access a social network using the Addtoany button, you do so under your own responsibility for your data and on the basis of the data protection provisions of the respective social services/networks of which you are a member. Please read AddToAny's privacy policy https://www.addtoany.com/privacy . By using the AddToAny button, you agree to the data processing by AddToAny and the transmission of the data to AddToAny. Our website itself does not collect any data when using the AddToAny service and does not receive any data from AddToAny that arises from the use of the share button.
11. Log files/Mobile Handshake
Each time a page is accessed, access data is saved in a log file, the server log. The data record saved contains the following data:
fabulr.com uses the standardized log file format of the Tomcat server for this purpose. However, your IP address is not saved after you have finished visiting the fabulr.com website. Subject to any statutory retention periods, users' IP addresses are deleted or anonymized after use has ended. When anonymized, the IP addresses are changed in such a way that the individual details about personal or factual circumstances can no longer be assigned to a specific or identifiable natural person or can only be assigned with a disproportionate amount of time, cost and effort.
fabulr.com uses the protocol data (logs) anonymously, i.e. without any allocation or reference to you personally, for statistical evaluations. This allows fabulr.com to find out, for example, on which days and at what times the Fabulr websites' offers are particularly popular and how much data volume is generated on the Fabulr websites. In addition, fabulr.com can use the log files to identify possible errors, e.g. faulty links or program errors, and use the log files to further develop the Fabulr websites. fabulr.com does not link the page views and uses stored in the server log to individual people. fabulr.com reserves the right to use data from log files if, based on certain facts, there is a suspicion that "users" are using the Fabulr websites and/or the associated services in violation of the law or contract. This serves both to protect the "users", the security of the data of "registered users", and the Fabulr websites and their services.
In order to show you studios in your area, we need to determine your location for a short period of time (not yet a feature of the beta version). When you use the "Mobile Handshake" function, your position (longitude and latitude) and the time you used the function are also saved in the server log for the duration of the localization. Once the localization is complete, this data is deleted or anonymized.
12. "Under 18"
The setting up of "studio profiles" and "media projects" on fabulr.com is reserved exclusively for adult "registered users". Parents or guardians are responsible for protecting the privacy of their children. "Studio profiles" and/or "media projects" of minors can only be carried out under the responsibility of an adult person (e.g. an educational institution or the person's parents) and exclusively via their "registered user" account. "Registered users" who are not adults only have access to the search functions, the function for recommending "studio profiles" and "comedy media projects", and the free functions for using watch lists.
13. Data security
fabulr.com takes technical and organizational security precautions to protect your personal data against loss, manipulation or unauthorized access by third parties. The technical procedures used are continually developed and improved in line with technological progress. However, we would like to point out that complete, absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
